Final Polishing: Your Portrait Session Checklist
Helping you look and feel your best!
To ensure we make the most of our time together in the studio, here is a quick "Day-Of" guide to help you prepare.
👗 Wardrobe & Styling
Steamed & Ready: Please arrive with your outfits on hangers to avoid wrinkles. We have a dedicated changing area and a professional steamer available if needed.
The Details Matter: Check for stray threads, missing buttons, or lint. (Don’t worry, I have a lint roller on hand just in case!)
Undergarments: Ensure your undergarments match the color and cut of your outfits to avoid visible lines.
Glasses: If you wear glasses, please ensure they are clean. If you have a pair with non-reflective lenses, those are ideal!
✨ Grooming & Prep
Hydrate: Drink plenty of water! It truly makes a difference in your skin’s natural glow.
Touch-Up Kit: Feel free to bring your favorite lip color, hairspray, or powder for quick mid-session adjustments.
Nails: Since portraits often include your hands, ensure your nails are clean or freshly manicured in a neutral tone.
🕒 Logistics
Arrival Time: Please aim to arrive right at your scheduled time. Because the studio is private and by appointment only, this ensures the previous client has departed and I can give you my full, undivided attention.
Parking: Feel free to park directly in the driveway.
Final Directions: If you need a quick refresher on the route, you can find our Arrival Guide & Video Tour here.
Most importantly: Relax and have fun! My goal is to capture your authentic spirit, and I’ll be guiding you through every pose and expression.
