Safety Measures

We're continuing to keep things safe around here. We have cleaning procedures in place, air filtration devices, etc. We're also happy to bring our mobile studio to you as comfort dictates. Covid shots? We've got them, including the booster.

Virtual or In-Person?

Everyone deserves to be photographed in an environment is stress-free. We offer both in-person and virtual options for consultations, view and order appointments, and the like. I will be making some adjustments on a client by client basis -- as your comfort dictates!

Are Masks Required?

If you are fully vaccinated, masks are not required (even if you are not being photographed). I am happy to wear a mask during your appointments/sessions. You can let me know ahead of time or the day of - NEVER feel awkward for asking. You deserve to feel comfortable.

Our rescheduling policy has always been flexible, and we will continue to extend that courtesy to you, so please don't wait until things "settle down" to reach out. I am happy to help you capture these fleeting moments now, and I am confident we will achieve excellent results during your session.

Regarding illness or symptoms: we appreciate your consideration of others as you evaluate how you are feeling before your session. If, in the last 14 days, you have had a cough or any flu-like or COVID symptoms or have been around anyone exhibiting these symptoms, we thank you for contacting us to reschedule. Additionally, please notify us if you are living with anyone who is sick or quarantined.

Let me reassure you I am still here to help answer your questions and provide my artistic input as you find helpful! So, if you have any questions, I'd love to chat with you further. Feel free to call 734-424-0472 or contact the studio so we can schedule a time to chat virtually.

Portrait Photography During The Covid Shutdown of 2020

During the first year of covid, we adapted to outdoor portraiture, including an "outdoor studio" for Covid-19 safety measures! Here's a brief video I made for that time.

Here's another video explaining how we created studio headshots during covid.

My original message to clients included grateful thoughts like this: "Thank you for your continued support and desire to trust me with your photographic memories. As I type this message, I am encouraged by the flurry of emails in my inbox. I am in the midst of planning numerous sessions with excited clients, and look forward to connecting with more of you as the weeks roll on." I also outlined the extra safety measures we added, and reminded clients: "I'm a storyteller at heart, so being able to capture your memories and tell your story for you remains my goal." Whenever the covid situation fluxuates, my original statement stands: "We are continuing to monitor updates as announced by Governor Whitmer, and adjusting safety measures as needed."
