Painting of Kids (created from a photo)

While creating this painting, I made a number of artistic changes to help this moment draw you into the image and focus on their faces ...and their smiles! I love how the relationship of these two kids is strengthened and their bond is emphasized through how closely they are seated.

I also added some impressionistic touches to the trees and the grass, because I loved how the light was dappling some of the leaves in the original background -- and wanted more of that in my final painted portrait.

When printed on a canvas, this painting that I created digitally taken to a new level, becoming an heirloom piece of artwork.
