When I was heavily involved with giving back to the photographic community (i.e. before having two kids), I was on several photography trade boards and even chaired a committee.
This painting was created while I was in Atlanta for a committee meeting at the Professional Photographers of America headquarters. I got to meet and talk with some of the people who are supporting the photography industry during my two days there.
I based this painting on photographs taken from my hotel room. It really was a gorgeous view, and I feel the impressionistic style really captures the essence of being in a big city.
Location: Atlanta, GA.
