This bike always draws my eye whenever I skim through my street photos of Rome. When I visited Italy, I loved the juxtaposition of new against old, modern sidled up to ancient. This stone storefront with the pink bicycle parked in front of it just brings that all together in a subtle, everyday way.
The old stone road.
The wall that has been painted with many colors of tan paint.
The metal diamondplate step.
The bubblegum pink bike.
The reflection of the buildings in the door.
The list goes on.
Sometimes, the details we see in the little things can stick with us, long after the moment has passed.
Location: Rome, Italy.
