Kayla's senior portrait session was so lovely! On the days leading up to her session, the weather looked foreboding, so we kept a close watch on the forecast, which was full of thunderstorms. The morning of her session, we finalized the decision to reschedule. Fortunately, we know how the weather tends to be, so rescheduling for the next day was a breeze! And, the weather cooperated too.
Here's a video slideshow with some highlights from her session:
We started on location in downtown Dexter, Michigan, at the Gazebo in Monument Park. Then, we walked along Main Street, making our way to Mill Creek Park. The sun shone brightly the whole time, and Kayla and her mom had so many creative ideas -- what a fun senior session.
After finishing up in Dexter, we headed north to one of Michigan's many smaller lakes for the second part of Kayla's session. We created images along the shore, and then took a pontoon boat ride to the sandbar for some final lake portraits as the sun reached its golden hour.
The final part of Kayla's session was getting the yearbook photo -- which needed a studio background. Thanks to our portable equipment, we were able to bring the studio look right to my client's driveway.
Enjoy these highlights from Kayla's senior session, and if you have any questions about scheduling your own portrait consultation, please contact the studio!
