Fall Colors at Island Park

Fall colors are here! Hooray! I love all of the seasons here in Michigan, and it's always fun to capture the changing seasons in a portrait like this senior session I did last week in Ann Arbor. The sun was shining, the weather was gorgeous, and fall colors were everywhere. Now, it was a little busier at the park than I'm used to, but that didn't have any impact on our ability to create great portraits for Bri. This is just one of my favorites -- I'll share some more later, that's for sure.

Image Description: a senior girl (Bri), stands on a wooden bridge looking over the railing at my camera. She is wearing a cute jean jacket over a black top, paired with a black and white checked skirt and black shoes. Her red hair is gorgeous in the autumn sunlight, as are all the yellow leaves behind her. At the top of the picture, I included some green leaves from the tree I was standing under as I took the picture. You can see the river behind the bridge, and some fallen logs in front (the water level was low, so I was actually standing in an area where there's often water. Fallen leaves cover all of the ground that you can see.

Location: Island Park, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
