Tulips at the Villa D'Este in Tivoli

I love the flowers from the Villa D’Este – but that’s because it is such a beautiful site. As I mentioned, the gardens at this UNESCO world heritage site are spectacular. My grandmother and I walked around the upper terrace of the gardens and enjoyed our brief visit. In addition to the terraced renaissance gardens and many fountains, you can also see many amazing things inside the villa. There are frescoes, enormous wall tapestries, and many of the rooms are themed. It’s really quite amazing.
