I have been so excited to share my favorites from this family session the other weekend! Partly because the kids were so enthusiastic, but also because we ended up with a gorgeous sunset at the end of the session. It was a whirlwind of spots and poses on the property, and the boys had plenty of awesome ideas on how I should photograph them (while I was obliging... I overheard the amusing comment "it's turning into a senior picture session..."
All in all, we created some lovely family portraits, and I am so excited that Mandy and her family will have so many amazing portraits to choose from when updating their walls.
Image Descriptions: there are 17 portraits of the family on their family farm, in various groupings from everyone (7 people including one adorable baby) to just the kids by themselves. We took portraits in front of their little red barn, on the tire swing hanging from a big oak(?) tree, in the woods where the path was littered with gorgeous yellow leaves, on the dirt road, across the road by a white fence, and then a couple with mini bikes and tractors as props. Finally, we took one final impromptu family portrait with the sunset behind the family.
