Betsy’s Photography is dedicated to providing you with the quality of service you deserve and the creative images you need! Here a few frequently asked questions about Betsy’s Photography and the portrait photography services we provide.
General
What’s included in your packages? You have multiple coverage options that are suited to fit different needs. The best way to learn about your options is to set up a consultation to find out more. Generally, your experience will include the creation fee, your image preview appointment, and a print collection of your choice.
Do you use film or digital? Betsy’s Photography is 100% digital – even though film is great to work with, digital allows Betsy more creativity and more control throughout the process of creating your images. Betsy’s digital equipment provides her with images that are comparable to (if not better than) its film counterparts — so you can rest assured that your images will be just as high quality as in the days of film.
Can you photograph my session in black & white? Yes, Betsy can create black & white images for your session. Betsy photographs all her clients in color, but you can choose to have her apply black & white or sepia toning to some images for you to preview.
Do you Travel? Do you have a travel fee? Betsy’s Photography photographs throughout Ann Arbor, Dexter, Saline, Ypsilanti, and more – the most common locations are actually scattered throughout Southeast Michigan. Depending on the session type you select, you will be able to choose a location up to 30 miles roundtrip from Betsy’s Photography. Of course, farther locations are possible. The travel fee is determined on a case-by-case basis (so that our fees can stay fair to you). Have questions about a specific location that you think will be perfect for your session? About Your Photographer
Will I get to meet Betsy before the session? Yes! Betsy meets personally with all her clients – it’s the best way to get to know each other. By doing this, you’ll be more relaxed throughout the session since you’ve already met Betsy and know that she is aware of your preferences and concerns. From the consultation to the final image selection, Betsy will be there to help you get the most out of your memories.
Can I see more of your work? Certainly. The selection of images available in the online galleries just cannot convey more than a sampling of Betsy’s shooting style. Albums and images can be viewed at the studio; you’ll need to schedule a consultation appointment, as hours are by appointment only.
When should I schedule my consultation? The sooner you schedule your consultation, the sooner you can start planning! It takes some time to plan and schedule your portrait session, so please plan ahead rather than waiting to call the studio with only a few days’ notice. Contact Betsy today!
